What does BOP electrical engineering include?

The scope starts with the plant load list and operating requirements. ETTS develops the distribution system and single-line diagrams, switchgear distribution, equipment arrangements, and detailed electrical, earthing, cable raceway and lighting layouts. Calculations and schedules are defined in the agreed deliverable list.

How are mechanical and civil interfaces coordinated?

Mechanical equipment locations and vendor data inform electrical loads and equipment arrangements. Civil layouts inform cable routes, trenches, openings and foundation interfaces. These inputs are considered as the electrical design develops, with outstanding information identified for coordination.

Can we start before every vendor drawing is available?

Share the available load list, plant layout and design criteria. We can discuss which engineering activities can begin, which assumptions need agreement and which deliverables depend on vendor information.
