PLANNING YOUR ENGINEERING SCOPE
The scope starts with the plant load list and operating requirements. ETTS develops the distribution system and single-line diagrams, switchgear distribution, equipment arrangements, and detailed electrical, earthing, cable raceway and lighting layouts. Calculations and schedules are defined in the agreed deliverable list.
Mechanical equipment locations and vendor data inform electrical loads and equipment arrangements. Civil layouts inform cable routes, trenches, openings and foundation interfaces. These inputs are considered as the electrical design develops, with outstanding information identified for coordination.
